"Medical school has always been a dream of mine; it is a very expensive undertaking. Fortunately, the scholarship I have received has been instrumental in helping me achieve my goal of finally one day becoming a doctor. It is humbling to have alumni take an interest in helping me complete my medical education. Academically, I take great pride in the fact that I have been in the top quartile in my first and second years. I plan to go into radiology and work with cancer patients. I am not sure what aspect, but radiology is the perfect blend of all my interests: diagnosis and screening, image-guided biopsies and treatment via interventional techniques."
