"I am so blessed to have received this scholarship. We all know that medical school is an expensive investment, and I am so thankful that alumni have taken an invested interest in my success and journey to become an extraordinary physician. My scholarship has allowed me the opportunity to continue participation in the things in which I am most passionate, such as serving as vice president of Student Government and being active in extracurricular activities and community service. I believe that learning and the path to become a great doctor is much bigger than the 'classroom'. I aspire to continue my life journey of learning and excellence."
