Getting Started using CRIS

Once an Investigator has an opportunity to pursue a clinical research study the investigator should contact the CRIS office for the CDA signature. CRIS then sends the signed CDA to the PI and it goes through departmental approval.

If the department approves the PI/administrative personnel contacts CRIS regarding the study application and submits a completed Clinical Research Application Form to the CRIS office. The PI/administrative personnel continue to have ongoing communications with the CRIS office to ensure that the application packet is  filled out COMPLETELY and within regulations.

In the future we would plan on using InfoEd as the way of submitting files to the CRIS office.
