Denise A.T. Auffant is a Senior Research Associate III and MDFT Therapist for the Detention to Community Study (DTC) in Pinellas County. Denise is responsible for providing direct clinical contact with study participants at the Pinellas site. She comes to CTRADA with a 28+ year professional work experience in providing clinical treatment service. The populations serviced run gamut from alcohol & substance abuse to family crisis to varying mental illness, physical disability or disease. Twelve years member of Program Operations Consultant group providing under contract supervised staff training and/or organization review to highlight areas in need of quality improvement on state or JCAHO accreditation-related challenges. Ten years Inter-Disciplinary Team member at various in-patient, residential and group home facilities serving in positions ranging from Teaching Hospital Director of Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Activity & Treatment Care to Primary Inter-Disciplinary Behavior Therapist to Child/ Adolescent Intensive Residential Treatment Therapist, Community Transition Therapist , Recreation Activity Therapist and Vocational Case Manager. Ms. Auffant is a Master Degree Trained Clinician from New York receiving both Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from New York University/ School of Education, Health, Nursing and Arts Professions/ Therapeutic Rehabilitation Administration.

Celine is an INCANT MDFT therapist in Paris, France. She has a Ph. D. in pathological gambling. Celine is a psychologist at the CEDAT, a unit for addictive behavior. She also has a private practice as a psychotherapist and psychanalyst.
Nathalie Dagher, M.S.
Nathalie is a cognitive behavioral therapist involved in the INCANT study as an MDFT therapist in Paris, France. She is a psychologist at the Centre Emergence, a unit for adolescents and addictive behavior. Nathalie obtained a Master degree in the field of video game addiction. Kris Van Gerwen
Kris works as a half-time INCANT MDFT therapist at the Cannabis Clinic in Brussels, Belgium and part-time as a nurse-therapist in the crisis intervention unit of the C.H.U. Brugmann. She is a graduate in psychiatric nursing and is a certified systemic family and couple therapist since 1995. She has participated in the founding of a short-term residential crisis intervention unit for adults and adolescents, at the CHU Brugmann. She also collaborated in the creation and design of the psychiatric emergency at the same hospital.

Eva is an MDFT-therapist in the Hague, Netherlands. She has a Bachelor degree in nursing with a specialty in social psychiatry. Eva has worked in adolescent psychiatry since 1996 and in forensic youth psychiatry since 2001.
Anita Korrubel, B.A.
Anita has been working for 20 years with people addicted to all kinds of drugs. She has worked at several institutions such as prisons , intake teams, and drug clinics. Anita first worked as a probation officer and then as a family therapist. She has a Bachelor degree in social studies and a Bachelor degree in residential works. Anita also organizes weekly meetings for parents of drug-abused adolescents for the last three years.
Harold Lantinga
Harold has worked since December 2005 as an MDFT-Therapist in The Hague, Netherlands. He used to care for mentally disabled people with severe behavior problems. Harold later gave treatment to adolescents in the Forensic Center Teylingereind, a closed institute for juvenile delinquents. His next job was to treat homeless adolescents and their families. Prior to joining the MDFT program, Harold's work was to help Multi-Problem Families to raise their children.
Tim Leverone, M.A.
Tim Leverone is a Research Associate and MDFT Therapist for the Detention to Community study (DTC) in Pinellas County. Tim is responsible for providing direct clinical contact with study participants at the Pinellas site. He has 5 years of experience in providing treatment services for adolescents and families with identified substance abuse and mental health issues. Tim has worked in association with the Rhode Island Juvenile Drug Court program (RIJDC) and The Providence Center (TPC) for Community Mental Health as a clinical therapist and case manager. Previously, he has provided Home Based Treatment Services (HBTS) to children and families with Developmental Disabilities, Fire Setter assessment and interventions with youth and families through Bradley Hospital, and residential treatment services to adolescents victimized by sexual abuse. Tim has collaborated with CTRADA for the last 2 years after receiving his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2005. He is working to become eligible for his License in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) in the State of Florida within the next year.
Marianne Madill, M.A.
Marianne is a Senior Addiction Worker for young people at West Community Addiction Team in Glasgow, Scotland, where she has worked since 2000. Marianne is currently training to become an MDFT therapist. Prior to this she worked for 5 years as an Outreach worker with Blackhill/Provanmill Drugs Project in Glasgow. Marianne obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Glasgow in 1993, a Post Graduate Diploma in Alcohol and Drug Studies in 1995 from Paisley University, and completed a Diploma in CBT in 2003.
Alessandra Marotti, PsyD ABD
Alessandra Marotti is a Research Associate and has been with CTRADA since November 2005. She has been a part of the clinical team as a MDFT therapist, and has recently become a MDFT Therapist Superisor/Trainer in Connecticut . She has been involved with the JDC study and currently with the DTC project. Alessandra was trained in Family Therapy in Italy and is currently working on her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her main interests are the work with families and developmental psychology.
Patrick Spapen, M.S.
Patrick is an INCANT MDFT therapist at the Cannabis Clinic of the C.H.U. Brugmann in Brussels, Belgium. Patrick obtained a Master of Science in psychology and pedagogy at the Free University of Brussels-U.L.B. Europe. He is a certified systemic family and couple therapist and also a certified eriksonian and brief therapist. He has participated at the founding of the unity " Rimbaud," for adolescents and family (inpatient and outpatient) at the C.H.U.Brugmann. He also has a clinical private practice, academic activities at the faculty of science in psychology ( U.L.B. Europe), and activities of trainer in brief therapy.
