Community Advisory Board

The mission of the D-CFAR Community Advisory Board (CAB) is to ensure that all research supported by the D-CFAR is developed, conducted and reported in a manner that recognizes the needs of those infected or affected by HIV living in Miami and the surrounding South Florida areas.

The current members include persons who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS and represent key community-based organizations, AIDS services organizations, the local health department, and Ryan White offices.

The members represent the various ethnic communities within Miami that are most impacted by HIV/AIDS. Theresa Fiano and Evelyn Ullah were elected to serve as co-chairs of the CAB.
