Who We Are
The Forum on Women’s Health was founded in 2006 and is comprised of 150 women from Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton who are devoted to their community, friends, and families. In collaboration with the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, the Forum’s goal is to promote health and wellness for its members.
By hosting Miller School of Medicine speakers and by actively promoting and participating in fundraising activities to help programs specific to women’s medical concerns, the Forum hopes to enhance its members’ awareness and contribute to their overall well-being, as well as make a meaningful contribution to the field of women’s health.
Our Mission
The Forum on Women's Health promotes health and wellness for our members, friends, and families through programs specific to women's medical concerns. In collaboration with the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, the Forum will focus on women's health issues and present information on the latest research, diagnoses, and treatments.
The Forum is committed to sharing cutting-edge information with our members and facilitating access to physicians and researchers at the Miller School of Medicine. We are also dedicated to providing community insight and support in the development of the Women's Center at the University Hospital at the Miller School of Medicine through awareness, fundraising, and open communication.
