Cell Derived Microparticles as New Biomarkers

Upon completion of this activity, physicians should be able to:
1. Understand "phenomena of microparticle (MP) release" from various cells.
2. Gain new knowledge on morphologic profiles of MP and their functional roles and their assays.
3. Become familiar with emerging research to use MP as new promising biomarkers in thrombotic, inflammatory and vascular disorders.
