Final VADT Results: Comparisons with Recent Trials

Upon completion of this activity, physicians should be able to:
1. Target glycemic control according to individual characteristics of type 2 diabetes patients.
2. Compare recent released trials: VADT, ADVANCE, and ACCORD.
3. Evaluate retrospective evidence, as well as learn about the "memory effect" as demonstrated by long-term follow-up of DCCT (EDIC) and UKPDS follow up findings.
