Although together we have made many innovations and improvements in recruiting talent, more must be accomplished.
We are working on more technology improvements, Behavioral Interviewing training is now available and are finalizing
a 12 month recruitment plan.
There is also an opportunity to enhance how we plan for staffing needs. Doing so will allow us us to begin the
recruitment for positions earlier to shorten the hiring timeline. Many new positions are posted towards the end of or at the
conclusion of the budget process. At this point, the need to fill the position is immediate.
This approach is not particularly effective in today's competitive labor market.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce we now have the capability to start the recruitment process earlier for certain
positions. Please read the attached Accelerated Posting Process Guidelines to facilitate this process.
