The Time is Right to "Go Live" with the Hospital Kronos Upgrade!

On March 11th the pilot groups at UMHC and ABLEH will "go live" on Workforce Central. Schedules, enrollment, biometric clock installation, testing and training have been completed for phase one implementation. The phased in approach will allow for just in time training and an opportunity to maximize system capabilities. The upgrade will provide employees and managers with self-service options as well as real time information. We expect to have full implementation completed at both hospitals by May 31st.

The Phased Implementation Groups and Dates are as follows:

Phase One - Pilot Group - Go live - March 11th

• ABLEH - ER Nursing, OR and Anesthesia
• UMHC - Inpatient, OR, Radiology and Registration

Phase Two - Nursing - Go Live - March 25th

• ABLEH - Employee Health, Inpatient, Nursing Administration, Ambulatory Nursing and Preadmissions
• UMHC - Education, CTU, Deerfield, General Medicine, GYO & HEM, Head and Neck, OPD-1, Site Disease, Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology

Phase Three - Clinical - Go Live - April 8th

• ABLEH - Clinical Lab, Ophthalmic Services, Optometric Clinic, Optometric Services, Pharmacy and Microbiology Lab, Echography and Photography
• UMHC - Cardiovascular Center, Cardio non-invasive lab, Clinical Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Tumor Registry, Pharmacy and Performance Improvement

Phase Four - Administrative / Support Services - Go Live - April 22nd

• ABLEH - Clinics, Administration, Admitting, Coding, Environmental Services, Eye Bank, Faculty Secretaries, Hand Therapy, HIS, Word Processing, HIM, Materials Management, Physical Plant, Quality Management, Transcription, Transportation, Master Scheduling, Communications, Library, Continuing Medical Education and Gables One Support
• UMHC - Administration, CIMS, Accounting, Employee Health, Facilities, Nutrition Services, Business Office, Central Services, Clinical Lab, HIM, Infection Control, Patient Relations, BIMS, Marketing and Communications, Information Center, Nursing Administration, Utilization Management, Revenue Integrity, Gables One Support, Courtelis Center, Transportation and Risk Management.

Phase Five - Temporary Employees at the Hospitals - Go Live - May 6th

Kronos training dates are still available. All those who have yet to be trained on the new Kronos (WFC) must register for the course by completing the BIMS Training Registration form and by contacting the BIMS training department at 305 243-7339. Space is limited.
