The Department of Pediatrics and Child Health is nationally renowned and serves young patients from all over the world. The Holtz Children's Hospital is the largest in the United States with 450 beds. Sixty three of our physicians appear on the Best Doctors list. In addition, the Children's Heart Center, the Mailman Center for Child Development, the Division of Clinical Research, the Batchelor Children’s Research Institute, the Debbie School at the Mailman Center, the Cleft and Craniofacial Center and the Poison Control Center provide specialized care and research for pediatric patients.
