Transplants

The University of Miami is a leader in organ transplantation and home to one of the most active transplant programs in the country. Since 1994, we have done more multivisceral procedures than any other transplant center in the world and currently perform over 400 life-saving adult and pediatric transplants per year. The surgical team has successfully transplanted as many as eight organs into one patient and has pioneered many methodologies. We offer patients top-notch medical care and perform approximately 500 procedures each year, including:
