About Stem Cells
Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that have the potential to differentiate into a variety of cell types. Our researchers use adult stem cells that have been isolated from bone marrow. For heart repair, we use mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in muscle, skin and adipose tissue.
