ACCREDITATION/CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Psychology credits will be submitted through the Miami VA Medical Center.

The University of Miami is an approved provider for Dental Medicine CEU's.

Florida International University is an approved provider for Occupational Therapy CEU's.

This program is approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists.

CEU's for nursing will be awarded through the University of Miami School of Nursing Provider #FBN 3066.

This program meets the criteria set by the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators, Agency for Health Care Administration, in the domain of resident care stated in Rule 59T-15.002.

CEU's for physical therapists will be awarded through the University of Miami School of Physical Therapy.

Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences is approved by the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine as a sponsor of continuing education in Podiatric Medicine.

The Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is an approved provider (BAP #134 EXP. 3/03) for continuing education for Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors.

This program has been reviewed and approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy and has been assigned approval number PSG 2002-015 for live continuing education credits in Pharmacy.
