Interventional Bronchoscopy

Drs. Elio Donna provides physicians with pulmonary assessments of complications associated with cancer treatment. They also collaborate with faculty representing the departments of otolaryngology, thoracic surgery and radiation oncology for endoscopic management in the palliative treatment for malignant airway obstruction.

Possible Treatment Modalities Include:

• Rigid bronchoscopy with debulking of the tumor by forceps biopsy, and LASER coagulation.
• Flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy with Electrocoagulation, Cryocoagulation, Photodynamic therapy, Endobronchial brachytherapy, Dilatation and Stent implantation
