Fellowship Program

Welcome by the Training Program Directory

Oliver Lenz, M.D.As Training Program Director I welcome you to explore this website and learn more about the exciting possibilities our program has to offer.

We currently offer a two-year program ensuring training in all aspects of clinical nephrology. These include inpatient consultation, intensive care nephrology, transplantation, interventional nephrology, outpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and outpatient consultation and follow-up. The clinical training is complemented by formal lectures and seminars with active participation of both trainees and all faculty members. An expansion of our training program is currently under way, and we plan to offer three-year pathways in the very near future.

On these pages you will find more information about our programs, a sample schedule, and our fellow selection policy. You may also want to explore the website of Jackson Memorial Hospital/Public Health Trust and browse information about Miami and the Beaches.

The Nephrology Training Program utilizes ERAS (1481121151) for all applications and  participates in the NRMP (1104148F0).

Please feel free to contact the Training Program Coordinator, Ms Ana Oteor, should you have additonal questions (email: AOtero@med.miami.edu or telephone: 305-243-3582).

I am looking forward to seeing you in Miami.
