Hematology/Oncology Fellowships at Sylvester
One of Sylvester's goals is to provide an environment for academically oriented physicians that will enable them to develop into future leaders in clinical investigation and teaching. To that end, the clinical oncology fellowship directors together developed a curriculum of core competencies and broad-based lecture topics on clinical, basic, and translational research appropriate for all oncology fellows.
Sylvester has 22 oncology fellows in the following programs including Hematology-Oncology. The center has established a core curriculum for oncology fellows in order to assist them in attaining the knowledge base common to all disciplines, as well as forum where fellows meet and address issues of mutual interest.
