I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1973 and came to the United States in 1978. Since then I have lived my life with my family here in Miami. I went to Belen Jesuit Prep School and subsequently the University of Miami in Coral Gables where I recieved a B.S. majoring in Biology. I was accepted to the 7 year medical school program at the University of Miami School of Medicine where I graduated in 1999. I did my residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital and finished in 2002. Currently I am working at the UM/Kendall Medical Center in Interanl Medicine. I also work Friday afternoons with the residents at Jackson Memorial in the outpatient clinics primarily in a traching role.

Clinical Specialties

I enjoy general internal medicine topics with an interest in nephrolohy and gastroenterolgy.
