Short Report Instructions

SPECIAL NOTE:  DEADLINE FOR POSTERS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 16.

Short Reports (Extended Abstracts) For  Poster  Presentation
(An example of a Short Report, can be found by clicking Here)

A Short Report is an extended abstract and will be published as an "instant symposium", given to registrants on arrival. These take the form of 2-page Short Reports where speakers and poster presenters are encouraged to document their findings, fully illustrated, along with an introduction; discussion; conclusion and bibliography. The example Report shows that the limited space can be used very effectively.

The Reports will not only be printed in black and white for distribution at the meeting, but will also be published on-line in advance of the Symposium and will remain accessible, free of charge, thereafter. This offers many advantages such as the ability to include color illustrations, graphics, accessible via the on-line version of your Report. Short Reports of exceptional interest may be selected for 15 minute oral presentation within the program, as well as being presented as a poster.

Please note that we cannot accept a Short Report from anyone who at the time of submission, has not registered for the Symposium. Your registration should accompany your Report. The registration fee for a person whose poster has been accepted is non-refundable after acceptance has been notified. You may, however, send someone to replace you and present your poster. The editors reserve the right to accept or decline a Report. When a Short Report is not accepted, the registration fee will be refunded only upon request. Notification of the acceptance of a Short Report will be sent 3 weeks after the closing deadline of November 5, 2007.  Reports received after the deadline will be considered for presentation as posters and will be published on-line.   Late Reports will be copied and handed out at the Symposium as a supplement to the book of  Short Reports.
