Shared Resources Fair
The Core and Shared Facilities Office within the Miller Office of Research, with support from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Wallace H. Coulter Center for Translational Research, will sponsor the third annual Shared Resources Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, February 17, on the Schoninger Research Quadrangle.
The University-wide fair aims to improve awareness of UM resources and promote scientific collaboration. This year, the fair will include a competition for posters demonstrating research that has utilized a core or shared resource.
The fair will be held in conjunction with a Collaborative Research Exchange Forum (CREF) on drug discovery, which will take place from 1:30 to 6 p.m. in the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium. The forum will be led by Claes Wahlestedt, M.D., Ph.D., professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and associate dean for therapeutic innovation.
