Chilling at the Beach: 2nd Annual Therapeutic Hypothermia and Temperature Management: Current and Future

The Miller School of Medicine will host “Chilling at the Beach: 2nd Annual Therapeutic Hypothermia and Temperature Management 2012: Current and Future” on Thursday, March 1, and Friday, March 2, at the Mayfair Hotel and Spa, 3000 Florida Avenue, Miami. The meeting will gather leading scientists and clinicians in the field of therapeutic hypothermia and temperature management.

A series of lectures by authorities in the field as well as round table discussions will be organized around a two-day meeting, allowing attendees to discuss the various obstacles that are ahead as temperature is utilized as a treatment paradigm in clinical situations.

This event is designed for physicians, researchers, nurses, and technologists in acute care, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, ICU and organ transplantation. It also will be of interest to surgeons and other physicians, residents, nurses and allied health care professionals.
