The ORIM provides administrative support for several University listservs.

Research-L listserv

The Research-L Listserv was established to announce new research opportunities, update investigators on new policies and procedures from funding agencies or the University, and to find collaborators or specialized resources. This listserv serves as a communication tool for the entire University community.

How do I subscribe?
As stated by University of Miami Policy:
Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.MIAMI.EDU, with the following command:
SUBSCRIBE listname Full Name
Where listname is the name of the list that you wish to subscribe, and Full Name is the First Name and Last Name of the user. Please remember when sending this message to use ONLY your UM preferred email address.

For example, if your name is John Smith and wish to subscribe to this list (RESEARCH-L), you send the following command in the body of the e-mail message:

SUBSCRIBE RESEARCH-L John Smith

You will be notifed by e-mail when your request has been processed.

RESEARCH-ADMIN_PROFESSIONAL

The Research Admin_Professional listserv was established to announce new research opportunities and to update administrators on new policies and procedures from funding agencies or the University.

How do I subscribe?

Clinical Research listserv

The Clinical Research listserv permits subscribers to post questions and share information on clinical research topics of interest. It is for UM study coordinators, study teams, investigators, clinicians, informatics professionals, biostatisticians, regulatory personnel, and other affiliated individuals, who are interested in topics and information related to clinical research at the University of Miami.
This is another resource for your use to leverage the collective knowledge of UM to assist you in solving problems or improving the effectiveness of our operations. CRIS, Research Information Management (Velos), and other offices will post information to this list regarding relevant news items, training opportunities, process updates, and system information.
