Research Resources

This website serves as a collective information source to the various biomedical research resources available at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. In addition to listings and links of core facilities or shared resources, this website also contains listings of resources to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.

These resources are typically under the scientific and administrative control of a UM research center or institute and or basic science or clinical department.   The resources and facilities generally fit the criteria listed below. However, some resources may require affiliation and additional collaborative, cooperative or specific research mission criteria to gain access to the resources.  Such criteria usually result in priority access and or subsidies for investigators.

•       Resources are open to University of Miami investigators
•       Most resources are operated on a fee for service basis
•       Most resources are operated on a first-come, first served basis

Information on each resource and contact information are available by clicking on the “Resources List” link on the left. Details about the services, costs, user priority and procedures are either posted on the respective web pages of each resource or are provided by contacting the person listed.
