JEOL JEM-100CX transmission electron microscope:The JEOL 100CX provides magnification from 100x to 250,000x and a resolution of 0.2nm. It is capable of accelerating voltages from 20-100kV, but operates at 80kV for most biological purposes. You can observe your specimen on the screen, or capture images on 3.25 x 4" film. The camera holds 50 sheets of film, and micrographs are printed with magnifications and sequential identification numbers. Negatives can be scanned for digital storage and manipulation on your own.
