A terrible accident nearly claimed this woman’s life
Feride Buch was just 22 when a terrible accident nearly claimed her life. A fire in her home left her severely burned over most of her body. She spent months in intensive care as the doctors fought one infection after another, trying to save her life.
Thanks to the extraordinary care she received at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Feride survived.
We’re happy to tell you that today – after extensive physical therapy and more than 30 skin-grafting operations – she’s living a full life. She is married and she and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful children.
