The main strengths of the program are the depth, breadth, and volume of orthopaedic trauma pathology; our longstanding tradition of lower extremity salvage, including in cases of extreme bone loss; and the sub-subspecialty training of our faculty, which adds bone transport, upper and lower extremity joint replacement skills, and shoulder and elbow reconstructive expertise to an already robust trauma service.
