Research Focus
Our research is focused on understanding bacterial biofilm infection, especially skin and wound infection. Specifically, we study microbiomes of wounds, including chronic wounds. Our research has also expanded into the field of antimicrobial peptides that target skin and wound infection. This is crucial early-stage research aimed at developing novel antibiofilm therapies.
